The turret under dis-assembly.
The angle iron framework holds all the armoured plates together.
With the turret front end removed one can see just how thin the turret roof is.
The mantlet assembly removed.
Now the opposite side armoured plate was removed.
Back again to the other side.
The plates almost all removed.
And there you have the bare framework.
The mantlet fulcrum being removed.
Where it attaches to the mantlet. The rotor is welded in place and needs to be ground away in order to remove it.

From the inside one can see the bushing and the riveted construction.
