A view of the left hand front, again showing the rust under the components.
This close up reveals red oxide primer and the bare plate colours.
Here is a close up of the left hand trunnion mount.
Showing the trunnion mount once again.
The end of the recuperator housing, I don't know what the large nut is for, probably an access port to the recoil adjustment mechanism.
This view shows one of the recessed screws and the gun sight aperture.
The turret periscope mounting with the armoured bulge removed. You can see the oval opening to allow the periscope head to be tilted forward and back.
A close up view with the oval opening more clearly seen.
The armoured housing removed.
A side view, the periscope head protrudes through the central hole.
